AccuWeather Expands Free Weather Warnings Offer to Hospitals in All 50 States After More than 150 Facilities Fighting Coronavirus Sign On

AccuWeather Global Weather Center, April 7, 2020 — AccuWeather announced it is expanding its offer to donate free weather warnings services to hospitals, medical facilities and public health agencies due to high demand as more than 150 medical facilities signed on to the pilot program launched initially in the hardest hit states impacted by the Coronavirus, including more than 45 Health and Human Service (HHS) testing sites.

According to the Inspector General’s report released Monday, April 6, by HHS, three out of four US hospitals are dealing with COVID-19, Now, hospitals and medical facilities in all  50 US states are urged to take advantage of the program to offer specialized AccuWeather SkyGuard severe weather warning services to help reduce weather-related risks to vulnerable, temporary structures established for Coronavirus testing and triage.
